Food Support for Team Members at Home - Paper goods/non-perishable foods or monetary donations

We identified a need to further extend that initiative to support our team members at home. This has been a trying economic time, and the impacts have been felt within some of their families. Therefore, Wellstar leadership created food pantries at each facility to allow team members a chance to “shop” for essentials after their shifts. We appreciate support of this initiative in the form of paper goods/non-perishable foods or monetary donations o the Wellstar Foundation to offset the cost for our team members, and donations may be directed to individual Wellstar hospitals. This is a new program for our COVID-19 response, and we have begun to see corporate and in-kind donations in some service areas. We have just begun to share this need with the community. We are pursuing these food pantries at each of our 11 Wellstar hospitals, reaching many of our 25,000 team members across the system.
