    Ser Familia, Inc. was founded in 2001. It is the only organization in Georgia that provides coordinated multidisciplinary family, social and mental health services to Latino families. We strive to strengthen, revitalize, and empower Latino families. We believe in the importance of a healthy family structure. An wide array of family workshops, youth programs, parenting classes, domestic violence victims' support, case management and the provision of client-centered counseling services to individuals and families create the best possible outcomes. We help create whole and healthy families that become self-sufficient and contributing members of their communities.

We offer culturally-sensitive, life-changing programs and tools to help Latinos become stronger and emotionally healthier. There are several overarching goals of the organization. They include: 1. Enriching and strengthening Latino families by developing stronger bonds and nurturing their potential. 2. Safeguarding that Latino children and youth thrive and become constructive members of their communities, and 3. Ensure that other organizations meet the needs of the Latino community in a culturally competent way.
