As you may be aware, mental health issues have become a rising concern among adolescents. The pandemic has made things worse as many young people are struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and other mental health challenges. Unfortunately, many of them do not have access to the professional mental health services they need due to financial constraints, stigma, or lack of awareness. At Crowned for Purpose Organization , we are deeply committed to supporting at-risk youth and promoting mental health awareness in the Metro Atlanta area. We understand that mental health issues can be complex and sensitive, and that each person's experience is unique. We also know that it takes courage to seek help and that no one should have to suffer in silence. That is why we have organized the Walk with Me Sneaker Ball, to raise funds and awareness for adolescent mental health. Our event is not just another charity fundraiser, but a fun and inclusive way to make a real difference in the lives of young people who need our support. Hello!! We are seeking shoe donations for our youth for the upcoming school year. As we know, a student's appearance plays a major role in a student's confidence. We are looking to play a small part in helping our student's build confidence with a new pair of shoes. Our goal is to collect 100 pairs of shoes!! Crowned for Purpose is seeking new board members who are passionate, and dedicated and willing to help us meet the needs of survivors of childhood sexual abuse and assault from the ages of 8-21. We are built upon the foundations of faith, integrity, love, respect, and care. Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month.
