All Programs

MDE School needs a new playground. We currently have a small open play area with no equipment. Our special kids need play structures to exercise, practice social skills, build gross motor skills, and fulfill sensory needs. The play area will be enlarged and play equipment installed to accommodate children of varying ages and abilities. A sensory garden will also be installed.

We serve children who are diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral Palsy, learning difficulties and others. We offer 4-1 ratio with academics 1-1. Enrichment such as music, art , drama, yoga, PE and clubs are offered as well as community based services for our high school students.

MDE School serves middle and high school aged students with the intent to help them acquire skills for possible job opportunities in their future. We are looking to expand our existing life skills and prevocational training to better serve our students. We will focus on teaching students to do basic plumbing, assembly of items such as furniture, using basic lawn equipment, learning how to operate a cash register, along with changing a tire and checking the oil in a car amongst other things.
