    ArtsBridge Foundation, the education outreach arm of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is charged with securing financial resources for ArtsBridge, the Foundation's education and community engagement programs. ArtsBridge provides quality arts education and community engagement programming, designed to inspire creativity and foster the next generation of artists and arts supporters. Since its inception in 2007, ArtsBridge has served over 350,000 students and educators from 58 Georgia counties, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. ArtsBridge programs include Field Trips to the Cobb Energy Centre for performances by leading local and national arts organizations, The Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards, Master Classes, Professional Development for local theatre directors, Educational Arts Experiences, and more.

All Programs

Built in collaboration with leading regional and national arts organizations, Field Trips to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre expose students to high-quality, educational performances that connect to Georgia Standards of Excellence and the Common Core. In late 2018, ArtsBridge established a partnership, the Snack Pack Program, with Action Ministries to ensure each student attending a Field Trip in 2019 and beyond will not experience missed lunch/food insecurity.

Focusing on skill and talent development for both students and educators in the performing arts, these training opportunities include: Master Classes led by touring Broadway cast members; Director's Bootcamp and (new!) Musical Theatre Summer Intensive, led by professionals from Atlanta theatre companies; and Performing & Visual Arts College Fair, in partnership with NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling).

ArtsBridge partners with local organizations to provide free tickets to multiple shows throughout the year. These fun and engaging performances provide families the opportunity to introduce young audiences to the performing arts through shows they may already know and love.

The Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards celebrate excellence in high school musical theater. The program embodies a spirit of camaraderie and celebration for the arts in high schools across Georgia. The Shulers are a part of the National High School Musical Theatre Awards – The Jimmy Nederlander Awards. The 2017 production won the 2018 Southeast Emmy® Award for "Special Event Live Coverage."
