Volunteers Needed: Thanks for Giving 2020

For 35 years, the Center for Family Resources has been providing families in Cobb County with food for Thanksgiving, as we believe that Thanks for Giving is more than a meal. It is an opportunity for families to create and continue family traditions, to gather with their loved ones and to give thanks in a way that is meaningful to them. Due to the COVID-19 health crisis, Thanks for Giving 2020 looks different this year: • Fewer volunteer openings • Three shifts are available • We are collecting pre-made food boxes to distribute, so no food sorting or packing boxes as in previous years. Volunteers are needed to help with collecting the pre-made boxes, quality control, distributing the boxes, and traffic control for the drive-through format.
