Essential Art Supplies Needed for K-5

Organization: Cobb County School District

Minimum necessary materials: (per student)  • Sketch Book - student made or store bought (25pgs) • Heavy Duty Drawing/ Painting paper 80 lb + (5 sheets) • Construction Paper: variety of colors, at least 5 sheets  • #2 Pencils (2 or more) • Handheld Pencil Sharpener • Eraser • Bottle of Glue or large Glue Stick • Scissors  • Ruler • Watercolor Set with a brush (8 colors+ Prang/ Crayola preferred)  • Water cup • Black Permanent marker similar to a Sharpie • Markers (washable) • Crayons  • Colored Pencils
