  • Organization Description:

We understand that for any individual or family to be successful, they need a basic understanding of budgeting, banking and credit transactions, and saving and investments. Through grants and volunteer activities, we partner with other nonprofit organizations with similar goals to teach students and adults about financial literacy, creating jobs, and generating wealth and effectively managing it. Through this work, we help our neighbors achieve financial stability and success. We also mentor and educate local college students and provide them with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing an investment fund and learning about philanthropy.

Volunteer

Reading books for 3 graders

ASFIP Foundation is looking for volunteers to read a book to third graders across metro Atlanta. ASFIP Foundation buys books that are chosen by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The students get to keep the books and share them with their families. The goal of ASFIP Foundation is to start teaching financial literacy to young children in order to start developing good money habits.

Financial Literacy presenters

Looking for professional individuals to do a financial presentation at Girls Inc. There are two sessions planned in November (dates TBD), one is for Senior girls and the other for parents.
