Tillman House is the Missions/Outreach Arm of Smyrna First United Methodist that was created to fulfill the needs of the community by sharing resources to meet immediate and long-term needs for all God's children.

All Programs

Every Saturday at Tillman House from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Must be a resident of Cobb County will proof of residence (utility bill, lease agreement) also bring your driver's license, work ID or passport, birth certificate, photo ID or report card of each person in hour household.

Toiletry kits and meal bags available for those that are homeless.

Diapers and wipes available to those in need.

Utility and rental assistance available for those residing in the following zip codes; 30060, 30080, 30081, 30082, 30126 and 30339. Please bring the following items with you: Government issued ID, copy of first and signature page of lease (if applying for rental assistance), copy of utility bill ( if applying for utility assistance), proof of income and a letter stating why you need assistance.

Education Center offering ESL, basic reading skills, family gardening, financial classes, healthy eating classes, and bible study for adults. Childcare is available while adults are in class.

Support group for Dementia Caregivers - Last Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm. Contact Eve DeVane at hejdev@gmail.com or 770-685-3320

Your entire family is invited to join us in the outdoor pavilion for a free, well-balanced meal and a short Jesus story. 5:00 pm, Saturday August 21st. Call 770-435-0851 for dinner reservations.

Food Box Volunteers Needed

We welcome ages 12 years old (with parent present) and older to help us pack food boxes for distribution. Drive-Thru Meals to Go Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers to help get food boxes to cars in the drive thru meals to go program. Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm until May 22nd. We have three locations.
