Nana Grants' CAPS Bridge Funding Program

The Nana Grants CAPS Bridge Funding Program provides supplemental child care funding for low-income single mothers attending Chattahoochee Tech, Gwinnett Tech, Atlanta Tech or Central Georgia Tech. Georgia’s CAPS program supports early education goals by assisting low income families with the cost of child care while they work, go to school or training, or participate in other work-related activities. But even with CAPS, a single mother with an infant may still be expected to pay $55 per week ($2750 per year) or more for child care. Nana Grants' CAPS Bridge Funding allows single mothers to balance school, work and parenting. Many of our mothers are one car repair or doctor’s visit away from financial insolvency. Nana Grants helps them stay on track for graduation.
