Program
Safe Haven Training for Fire, Police, Hospitals, and EMS
There are 159 counties in Georgia, more than any other state, and many of these counties are rural, making essential training for their first responders hard to maintain. Each training costs $800 and equips up to 50 personnel. Trainings include: -Educating fire station, police station, and hospital employees and volunteers -Understanding issues concerning at risk infants and mothers -State statutes and policies regarding infant abandonment -Best practices concerning the issues of abandonment -Overcoming the biggest provider challenges
