Program

Interns4Tomorrow

Interns4Tomorrow promotes higher education, financial literacy, business etiquette, and life skills, and offers paid internships to high school students who have completed at least eight years of our programming. The objective of I4T is to prepare students to reach their educational and career goals while empowering them to become self-sufficient adults who are contributing to their communities and the workforce. With the knowledge and experiences gained through I4T, students will be more equipped to dream and plan for next steps after high school. Eligible students complete an application and interview process in the fall to be accepted into the program. From January to May, they complete a semester of monthly training sessions. This prepares them for paid, three-week summer internships with Atlanta-area businesses, where they can put these lessons into practice and earn a paycheck, many for the first time. Students have the option to participate in I4T for two years, typically their junior and senior year of high school. Throughout the program, we help them prepare for life after high school by guiding them while they complete a personal achievement plan, taking them on college and business tours, taking them on a business trip to New York City, and hosting a money management workshop.
