Leahi soccer club fielded over 20 teams in various age groups, providing an opportunity for over 300 girls and women to develop their soccer skills in a competitive yet "nurturing" environment. Teams participated in leagues and tournaments both locally and regionally. Besides providing a higher level of competition, the regional tournaments also provide exposure to college coaches. A number of leahi alumnae have been able to earn athletic scholarships and further their education at various colleges and universities throughout the United States. In addition, the club also participated in community service projects such as special olympics, carole kai charity run, operation soccer ball to collect soccer balls for needy families, and soccer clinics open to the club and general public.
