Marietta Market Booth Event: Holiday Cards for Overseas Military

Organization: KIDS CARE Corporation

We will be at the outdoor Marietta Square Artisan Market -with our awesome green/white striped booth- for the public to stop and make a holiday card(s) for overseas military service men/women. The cards will be given to Hugs for Soldiers (nonprofit from Duluth GA) who will mail them overseas at the end of November. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to: * help set up the booth/tent (get markers, paper, stickers etc out) -- 8:00 am - 9:00 am * run the booth (restock supplies, explain to the public what we are doing and help little ones make cards) *clean up (put everything back into bins) 1:00 pm To volunteer email (kc2018org@gmail.com) us a window time that you would like to volunteer. Time slots can be decided by volunteers. Children & families are encouraged to volunteer your time & to help KIDS CARE collect a great big box of letters/cards to send overseas this holiday season.
