Our Volunteers at the Marietta office greet and welcome clients, assist with food and clothing distributions, aid with employment services, stock and organize the MUST Market Place thrift store, and support a variety of other client services.

Operating 365 days a year, the Loaves and Fishes Kitchen at Elizabeth Inn at 55 Elizabeth Church Road serves nearly 80,000 meals a year, most of which are purchased and prepared by civic, church, corporate, and family volunteer groups. If you are interested in serving a meal with your group, please contact Lavon Minns, the campus administrator at lminns@mustministries.org or 678-218-4535. We have helpful tips on our website to make your food drive successful. We also have flyers available that are easy to fill out with the MUST logo. Choose the standard Food Drive flyer or the Bring and Get flyer.

We offer group volunteer opportunities at our Donation Center. Student volunteers must be age 14 or older and accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone. We offer two shifts per day (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) or (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm). We offer shifts every Wednesday through Saturday. We can accommodate groups of 5 to 25 people. These volunteers help us sort donated food, clothing and other items as we prepare them to be distributed to our ministry locations.

Off-Site Donation Drives help us to supply our clients with basic necessities such as diapers, toiletries, sheets, towels, and winter coats. If you are part of a large group that wants to serve with us, off-site donation drives are a great way to involve everyone. Before and after the drive, bring your group to our facility and take a tour so you can see first-hand how your contribution helps our community.

Revved Up Kids, Inc.

Revved Up Kids offers volunteer opportunities for adults who want to support our mission to protect children and teens from sexual abuse and exploitation. We offer flexible hours, work at home projects, in-office projects, special event planning, community event planning, assisting with Revved Up Kids training programs. If you are interested in helping us keep kids safe, please contact us to discuss volunteering.

Georgia Symphony Orchestra

The Georgia Symphony Orchestra welcomes individuals who are passionate about classical and jazz music to assist with the box office and the seating of our patrons for each event throughout our concert season. We also have opportunities to provide hospitality at special events or to serve on our board of directors. Volunteering with the GSO provides the opportunity to meet other people along the way who share a love of symphonic and jazz music and a desire to make a difference in our community

Right in the Community

Right in the Community, Cobb's oldest non-profit geared to special needs, has a wonderful group project available for you! Choose an exterior painting project from one of our 122 1-story group homes that are in need of painting. We can supply the paint, or we can provide you with the paint specifications. Help make a home cheerful and bright for these residents!

Marietta Mentoring for Leadership

Mentor a youth in Marietta! We offer training and support throughout the year. Community mentors have various ways to connect with students through our organization: be a one-to-one mentor for an 8th-12th grader, serve as a small group mentor for 6th or 7th graders, help juniors and seniors complete college and scholarship applications, serve lunch to students once per month at the high school, or attend events throughout the year as an extra set of hands.
