The Donation Drive & Volunteer Event we will be putting together Foster Care Love Bags & Homeless Outreach Care Bags. The even will be at the Ben Robertson Community Center, Classroom II. The even will be from 1-3pm. Go to www.VillageConnection.org to register for the event. We will also be collecting donations for the bags so please stop by and donate. All volunteers will be given a shirt to wear during the event until we run out. Thank you for being apart of the village. Besides monetary donations we need the below items for our Care Bags & Love Bags: Duffle Bags (new) Deodorant Small Teddy Bears Crayons Coloring Books Books (teens & kids) Adult Socks Teenager Gifts Drawstring Bags Bodywash Love Bags: Love Bags With a passion to help kids in foster care, this initiative lets them know that someone cares. We want to make a difference in their lives by allowing them to carry their belongings in duffel bags instead of trash bags. Each duffel bag, known as a love bag, will include toiletry items, a play toy, a learning toy and a poem. Care Bags: Care Bags With this initiative, our goal is to provide essential care items for those in need. Homeless Outreach is something that we take seriously, and our team is working to make a positive impact. Care bags will be provided to those who are homeless. Bags will include toiletry items, socks and a list of resources.
